Power is the biggest drawback on the CR-42. Despite being a sharp salvage conversion, the ship suffers from a weak power plant and subsequently does not deliver enough kick to the guns to make this a truly formidable fighter. Yet, the increased speed over most X-Wing based Uglies, in addition to a better sensor package, makes this an excellent recon and patrol fighter.
