WHAT'S NEW
4/20/2000- Wow, it's past tax time and I haven't put any significant changes onto the site since last year. I have put up a new ship or two, and the Rock Squad section gets updated with new stats every time we finish an adventure and spend character points. I've done a little cosmetic sprucing up with buttons and whatnot, but there hasn't been a major influx of new ships for a while. I will see about getting back on the job and getting some real work done.
12/30/1999- I am on some kinda roll right now baby! Actually this update is just to inform you that old drex has a new email address. drex@entermail.net So please update your links. Thanks
12/29/1999- I managed to put up a bunch more ships. Mostly in the Satisfied Customers area. Please check them out. Many are ships to be used on Hooly's Moon Swing Chronicles. Some are already posted on his site, some, not yet.
12/26/1999- Millenium's closing in on us and I figured I'd better get an update out there just before the world ended. I didn't want to leave people hanging. So I've added a line of Sienar craft to the Backlot. Lambda, Kappa and Drop Ship, plus the Lonestar-A Scout ship. Check them out, I think they got pretty nice. Also, though this isn't new to my site, I'd like to congratulate the guys over at the new SW-RPG net on the great job they're doing. I hope the site turns out to be everything they'd hoped it would be. I'm going to be adding more ships soon, mostly stuff for Hooly's Moonswing Chronicles. I've got all or nearly all the ships done on his site. I don't know if there are any left, but even if there are, I'm sure I'll take care of them sooner or later. This is also the first update to the news section in a while. There are definitely more ships on the site now, please, look around to find them all. I've added an other section, has nothing to do with anything else. It is based on the AD&D Play by mail in which I participate. I try to keep it reasonably updated with the logs from the adventure, check it out- it is accessible from the main page. That is all I am up for rambling about at the moment. Have fun, enjoy the page and let me know if there are ships you are simply aching to see.
10/16/1999-Zowie! I just looked and this site is well over a year old. We're on our third server since starting. First it was my home ISP account server which charged exactly 1 arm and 1 leg per megabyte of storage space. Then I had a strong run at Forcestorm.com. Don't go looking for it, it's down now. One of the guys who was helping with the site was allegedly- allegedly storing illegal MP3's on the server. Tsk tsk. Anyway, now I've picked the server, and it is on my terms that the site looks the way it does, so I'm a very happy little webmaster. So, what's new besides the new home? More stats, more side views, check out the Z-95 Headhunter variations, and the new captial ship called Home which is part of Hooly's Moon Swing Chronicles. Also make sure to check out and download Jacinth Troll's Force dream in PDF format- a play by mail adventure compiled into a short story. Also check out the new ships based on the YT-2000 and the new ships on the GM's page. As you've probably noticed, all new logos, and buttons, and hopefully by the time I post this, plenty more new stuff as well. So look around, enjoy and take everything you want for use in your campaign.
7/10/1999- Added stats for most all of our monday night SWRPG group. Added a new picture in this area of our ship the Igneous Rock. It is an all new picture.
6/30/1999- Raye Gunn has joined forces at Smilin' Drex's and has opened up a blaster shoppe. Check out all that is worth purchasing from Raye Gunn!
6/2/1999- I've added several pages, including a section on repulsor craft with pod racers from The Phantom Menace. Also, I've started up the Adventures of Rock Squadron, a section dedicated to the Monday night group I play Star Wars with. There will be more to come in this section as we get more art and more information to bring to you. I've also added a section for Capital Scale ships. Yes, it seems, I've broken down, and now I'm drawing capital ships. Don't put in any requests for any, I'm doing them solely on my own whim. That's about the bulk of it, though I am working on other new sections for the near future including a blaster shop, and more side views for more ships as time goes on. It looks like the one thing which was requested most, is now being presented- SIDE VIEWS. I know it doesn't seem like much, but trust me, it is quite a bit of extra work. I've got shapes built for the YT series shapes, and all of the accessories that go along with them, but I haven't finished the side view hulls for the other ship types. I will be working on it though. If any of you know how to clone me so I can be more productive, please email me.
4/30/1999- I've teamed up with Jason Fulghum at Forcestorm.com to relocate the site. We've got some high ambitions for the new domain as a one-stop source for all things SW. Jason has given me the responsibility of getting the rpg side up and running, so it was only natural to relocate the stockyard here. Keep your eyes open for new stuff as the weeks roll on.
04/18/1999-
After a very long break, the Stockyard is back in action. I had hoped to have the update done as an anniversary to my 10,000th hit, but it flew past more quickly than I had anticipated. I've updated the look and graphics just a little bit, changed some colors around, but I didn't change the basic structure. We have a new logo, for instance, but everything is still pretty much where you found it before. I've added a link to Jazzbone's A.S.K. Syndicate. Jazz has been real helpful with feedback and whatnot, and I like what he's got on his site so far. I've also expanded the Backlot. This is probably where you'll see the most change. I've included the Seinar ships, with stats, added Y-Wing art, and posted som starship modification information under the BoSS discount shop. Additionally, I've added some art to the source material, and I'm hoping to whop some stats together for the stuff I've posted in the not too distant future. I know I let the site languish for a couple of months, but I expect I'll be updating on a somewhat regular basis for at least a little while. In the works- a history of the campaign I run in on Monday nights at the local comic book shop, hopefully with weekly updates as to what our characters are up to, funny moments in game play, etc. Hope you enjoy all the new stuff, keep coming back, and of course, I'm still interested in your feedback, so feel free to email me, though please forgive me if I do not respond to all of the emails I get.12-22-98-
Smilin' Drex Furlow's backlot is now officially on the site. What had been posted and connected with a hidden link is now public knowledge. The Backlot was originally goint to be a secret site, but I've done too much work on the backlot to not have people visiting it. Let's just say that word has gotten out about the existence of the backlot, and it isn't the secret it used to be. Also, I've added a new section featuring the personalities of the Stockyard. Keep an eye out in the future for more source information on the Stockyard. Oh, and Happy Holidays to everyone who visits the site! Thanks also to everyone who has been commenting and making suggestions and thanks to Nealos for the very very positive re-review and special special thanks to Yoda Boy!!!!11/29/98-
Hey gang, this is mostly a maintenance update. Fix a few broken title image links, and add the valued WEG link. They were kind enough to inlcude me on their page, so I am reciprocating. For those of you waiting to hear from Drex, please be patient. I am working on custom stuff for many people, plus I'm developing the stuff I want to do with the site. Oh, yeah, and I've been enjoying the holiday season. Look for more stuff soon though, possibly this week or next. Thanks, hope you had a nice Thanksgiving, see you with another update definitely before Christmas.10-30-98-
9 new YT-2400's have gone up in the YT ships section, and three new Ghtroc frieghters. I've also added a customized Panther to the satisfied customers and have put stats on a few ships. It is too few to be majorly significant at this time, and also too few for me to chase down which pages, so feel free to tool around the site and figure it out for yourself.10-10-98-
Well, got the counter going, and I'm happy about that. Hits are coming in quickly enough and it is definitely fun to watch. I've added several new ships, including about three Ghtroc's, Rendili-Surron and a few ships to the Satisfied Customer's section. Added a few links to the links page, and updated the links which have changed.9-12-98- Feeling pretty good. The site was just reviewed and rated by the Star Wars Supplement Resource Center. Thanks for the positive review. Also, some new ships coming online! Some in the Stockyard, and two in the Satisfied Customers area. Check em out.

Well, I warned you I'm not a web designer. In the last three weeks, I've designed a truckload of new ships, and I've learned just a little bit about web design. I finally have FrontPage 97 running, and have my little stockyard working and updating from there. Don't ask me how I did it. Just a lot of pointing and clicking until things started to work. Naturally, the link has changed a little, but all in all that is for the best. If you're reading this, then you know the link changed, duh. I've added Kazellis, Lantillan, Starwind, YT Series ships and a gallery of satisfied customers. This is for any ships I design custom for individuals. If you want a ship designed, let me know, with stats, and description, color, rough sketch, etc. In the coming weeks I will be designing a hull for the Rendilli Surron, and for the NovaDrive 3-Z. I also intend to do some YT's with port side cockpits and a series of 2400's with a little more detail. The rest of the stuff from WEG's Stock Ships doesn't excite me. But if you have a Hyrotil, or Barloz or whatever and really want one done, convince me and we'll see what can be accomplished.08/07/98
- Positive response in the first 24 hours has convinced me to keep the site up and begin expanding it. New ship outlines, plus different models will be put into the works hopefully over the weekend. The #1 request has been stats and histories for the ships. I will include these but I want to focus on designing the ships. I will therefore be accepting ship stats and histories based on fan submissions. I of course reserve the right to edit any submission, and the submission should include all of the following information:
Craft:
Pork Chop ExpressShips By Class
Backlot Source Material
Links
Email Drex Rock Squad Capital Ships
Repulsor Craft
Blaster Shoppe What's New
