Capsule:
- The medical bay and holo theater have been removed to enlargethe galley and lounge. The large lounge can be used as a very nice holo theater, and in fact the projector is 25% larger than what would have fit in the previous small theater space.
- The galley is more than twice the size of the original, extending into the space where the holo theater was removed. This does create the minor inconvenience of having the gun turret access in the middle of the kitchen, but the retractable ladder makes this no problem for daily use.- Speaking of gun turrets, while the previous owner took their turret with them before trade in, so we've installed a *brand *new, perfect condition gun system in it's place (not shown on picture)
- This ship has been higly modified for interior comfort. All furnishings are plush. All work stations including the cockpit have been reconfigured from factory specs to be ergonomically perfect for human beings. The only danger is that everything is so comfortable, pilots may have a hard time staying awake! The huge kitchen is a culinary engineer's dream of modern food preparation technology. No dreading the refresher on this ship, and the Zero-G relaxation chamber has a few added features for the romantically inclined.
This refit probably cost the previous owner as much as we're now asking for the whole ship!
These comfort interior upgrades have seen a lot of use, but the previous owner installed only the very best quality products, and everything has held up well.
- The previous owner also took out the highly modified ship computer, mostly for sentimental reasons. To keep costs down, we've installed an older computer sytem, but a top grade housing and wiring system remains if you ever want to upgrade.
- The navicomputer has a very nice plotting program to make your astrogation work run smoothly (+1D to astrogation rolls if character's skill is less than or equal to 6D) so you can get back to one of the lounge massage couches as soon as possible.
- The Jingo's main hyperdrive is greatly improved over factory standard.
There are faster freighters, but not many faster luxury pleasure crafts.
Besides, on this ship you'll find yourself so relaxed that you're not really in that big of a hurry to arrive at your destinations!
- The sublight engines have been meticulously maintained over time, but have seen a lot of wear and are due for moderate overhaul. You may want to do this work yourself, or, if you prefer, we'll refurbish the entire drive system for a low, additional charge of 2,200 credits.
